To activate a UCInetID, follow the steps below.

Please report any problems to the Admissions Office at (949) 824-6703. If you are a medical school applicant please call (949) 824-5388

Do NOT attempt to reactivate your UCInetID if you've forgotten your password. Visit the UCInetID Password Reset page for instructions on how to reset or change your password.

Step 1: Enter in your personal information.
This information will be used to lookup and verify your data record.  

 What is the ID Number?
 What is Date of Birth needed for?
 What is Social Security needed for?


Step 2: Choose a good password.

Your password is your only protection against someone obtaining UCInet services in your name.   You are responsible for anything done with your UCInetID. Do not share your password with anyone.

When choosing a password, please ensure it:

  • Is at least 8 characters long.
  • Contains letters and at least one number or symbol that is not the first or last character.
  • Does not include personal info (like your name, UCInetID, or ID number).

Step 3: Choose a password security question and answer.
If you forget your password, you can reset your own account by answering the question you choose below. Please select a question that you will be able to answer in the future exactly as you enter it now. The question and answer combination are kept confidential and are solely for this purpose.
